Sprinkles Ice Cream

Oh, sprinkles, I’ve come full circle. I love you now. The difference between good sprinkles and the waxy plastic-y tasting years-old sprinkles from grandma’s baking cupboard can not be overstated.

The first time I tasted quality sprinkles, I think my jaw may have actually dropped. It turns out that good sprinkles should taste like little bits of frosting. They’ll melt in your mouth and have their own unique sweet flavor. They’re worth every penny and they’re now a staple in my pantry.

Swirled into creamy homemade ice cream, sprinkles ice cream is a treat that is a hit with both kids and adults. Each bowl is colorful, sweet, and fun to eat!

And let me tell you, that cake was a taste bud time machine straight back to my childhood. I remember enjoying those cakes so much at my friends’ birthday parties.

There simply aren’t enough opportunities for treats with sprinkles as adults – let’s change that, ok? And speaking of sprinkled fun, you should probably put these Funfetti Pancakes on your must-make list as well.

And in case you doubt my renewed love of funfetti birthday cakes, I just bought a mix and yes, a can of frosting to make one for my own birthday this year. And yes again, I’ll be making that birthday cake ice cream too.
