  2. Bake for 25 minutes, gently stir and flip the tater tots and bacon. Bake an additional 5-10 minutes until browned and crispy. Sprinkle generously with cheese and bake 2-3 minutes more, just until the cheese has melted.

So easy- very good! I used the salad topping bacon bits and they were just fine (would only cook for 1o minutes though). Also, I moved the whole thing from the cookie sheet to a glass casserole dish (lightly sprayed with oil) right before adding the cheese. I was able to carry it straight to my event and it was a huge hit. Thank you!5 stars

What are tater tots ? Must be called by another name in Aus . Potato Gems perhaps .

    1. Mary Younkin says:

You are correct! I just googled it. What we call tater tots here in the US are often called potato gems in Australia and through the UK.

  7. Handler says:

I’m sorry for such a dumb question! The bacon goes on the tots uncooked? Then cooks with the tots? Guess that’s kind of 2 questions lol4 stars

    1. Mary Younkin says:

Handler – Yes you can put them on uncooked. They are small pieces so it should cook up nicely with your tots!
