Sour cream with a touch of sugar is just the right amount of tangy and sweet to compliment the fruits in this salad.

Strawberry Blueberry Banana Fruit Salad

I’ve served fruit salads with this dressing to countless people over the years who were shocked that the dressing was made so simply with sour cream.

After mixing together the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla, add the fruits to the bowl. The nuts in the recipe are optional, but we really enjoy the bit of crunch that they add to the salad.

I’ve eaten this for breakfast tossed with some crunchy granola or cheerios. You honestly can’t go wrong with any crunchy combination here.

Creamy Fruit Salad with berries and bananas is a light side dish for summer barbecues!

I typically make this fruit salad when we’re ready to eat it. However, you can also store it in the fridge for a few hours before serving.

This fruit salad is a terrific dish to bring to potlucks or other gatherings. It’s also great served with sandwiches for an easy family lunch. It is best served immediately or within a couple of hours of making it, as the bananas will soften a bit.

Luckily, it’s a very simple salad to make, so it’s easy enough to toss it together when you’re ready to eat.
