Poppyseed Chicken Salad Recipe
- Combine the chicken, grapes, walnuts, and onions in a medium-size mixing bowl. Drizzle with poppyseed dressing and stir to coat.
- Serve immediately in sandwiches, with crackers, or on top of a garden salad. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken, diced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cups red grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped small
- 1/3 cup green onions, sliced thin
- ½ – 2/3 cup Poppyseed Dressing

I have made this twice, using two different poppyseed dressing brands. Both times the chicken salad was light and so delicious! Definitely a five star, go to keeper recipe. I’ve searched for a recipe which did not contain eggs nor was swimming in mayonnaise. This recipe met both criteria. Thank you so much!

Hello! You could try using chives, leeks, shallots, etc. as substitutes for green onions. Chives would be my first recommendation. I hope you both love the chicken salad.
