Apple Walnut Salad with blueberries, goat cheese, plenty of fresh greens, and parsley is a fall favorite and it is a perfect match for the very popular Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette too!

Blueberry Apple Walnut Salad with Goat Cheese and Honey Vinaigrette

Apple Walnut Salad

I’ve been making an Apple Walnut Salad for years now and a while back I had the idea of trying it with blueberries too. It was incredible!

The bright flavor of the greens in this salad meets the sweet crunch and pop of the apples and blueberries, creamy goat cheese, and crunchy nuts. The sweet and tangy dressing finishes it nicely.

I’ve been making this salad regularly for the past couple of months and I’m excited to be sharing it with you at last.

If you want to turn this salad into a hearty meal, grilled, roasted, or Last Minute Chicken would be a great addition.

Or, if you’re like me, and just need a little more protein to call it a meal, bump up the goat cheese and add a sprinkling more nuts.

This Apple Walnut Salad easily keeps me full and happy for lunch or for dinner.

Kitchen Tip: I use this knife to make this recipe. (FYI that knife is a screaming deal for the quality and I’ve been using it for more years than I can count at this point.)

Apple Walnut Salad Recipe

  1. Add the spring mix, apple slices, cheese, walnuts, blueberries, and parsley to a large bowl or platter.
  2. Drizzle with vinaigrette and toss to coat.
  3. Serve immediately.

I’ve served this salad for dinner, alongside this Oven Baked Crispy Chicken and I’ve also served it with this Sausage Tortellini.

It would pair well this Roasted Chili Maple Pork Tenderloin, these Salmon Cakes, or this Spicy Orange Garlic Shrimp.

Great salad and we always love the fresh fruit and nuts. Since this was our lunch, I added some sliced smoked turkey breast to the salad. It is so delicious and a salad I will definitely make again. : )5 stars
