When I realized that yesterday’s post was going to be the 50th smoothie recipe on this blog, I decided to round them all up in one place for you. What can I say? Green ones, pink ones, bright yellow sunshiny ones, We LOVE our smoothies!
It’s hard to believe that in just a couple years of blogging I’ve accumulated so many smoothie recipes. I’ve
been throwing together morning smoothies using random ingredients from
the refrigerator and freezer for years now. When the combination is
tasty enough to make again and again, I share them here. Every smoothie in this list is kid approved and frequently requested!

You are so fabulous! I have been having green smoothies everyday for breakfast for a couple of months now (bought a fancy blender!). It's made such a difference. Super easy, portable, healthy and delish. Thank you for logging all these recipes into one spot for us. Oh, how I <3 thee, Ms. Mary!

Ummm… are there any without banana?!? Stupid Banana Allergy!
Mary says
Yes! There are many in the list without bananas. However, banana is the thickener that I tend to use more than any others for our smoothies. Luckily, we don't have any allergies. However, you can also use mango and peaches for the same results in a great many of these smoothies. If you have questions about what will work best for specific smoothies, drop me a comment on the individual post. I'm happy to help! Good luck!

For thickening the mango/peaches work great, or I soak 1 Tbsp. chia seeds for a few minutes & add to my green smoothies. Also, since I have Crohn's Disease, I add 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseed and, except for a (rare!) flare-up, I no longer have to take prescription meds. CarrieM

I used to make one with orange juice, Breyers Peach or Orange Yogurt, a banana, Mandarin Oranges or Mangos. The kids really liked them and I did too. A good snack when the weather is hot or a good addition to breakfast.
