As a child living in Iowa, I loved climbing on the snow banks with my brother and neighborhood children and playing King of the Hill. So much fun trying to get to the top and even more fun trying to stay there!

Sherry Laferriere says
Since it’s Christmas, my favorite memory was when my Dad bought my Mom a diamond ring enclosed in a small jewelry box with a ballerina holding the ring when she opened it. When my parents married they didn’t have two nickels to rub together, when my Dad had enough money he brought my sister and I to help pick it out. It’s been over 60 years and I still remember the look on my Mom’s face when she saw it. It’s my favorite memory of any time of the year.

I would love cozy socks! I love being in my stocking feet. The weather here is cold! So…warm and cozy socks to romp around in the kitchen would be lovely!

Cute socks. A favorite winter memory goes back to high school when the street we lived on (a hill) was blocked off for sledding then we would go in our house where my mother had made cookies and hot chocolate.
