Welcome to the weekend, my friends! I’ve spent more time outside lately than I have in a long time and I’m loving it so much. If you would like to follow along with that (or be reminded to step outdoors for a few minutes each day too) I’ve started a photo journal of my ten-minute timeouts.

ON THE BLOG this week: This Herb Rubbed Sirloin Pork Roast is one of the best pork roasts I have ever tasted and it turns out incredibly tender and juicy every single time.

Almond Joy Brownies are gooey fudgy brownies filled with plenty of chocolate, almonds, and coconut. If you have a chocolate and coconut lover in your life, they’re sure to love these brownies.

Tangy, sweet, and flavorful Champagne Vinaigrette is a salad dressing you’ll want to keep on hand. I enjoy it on so many different salads

What I’m CRAVING: I stumbled onto this Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cheesecake the other day on my friend Lori’s site and it looks so darn good!

My FAVORITE THING this week is bag balm. It’s the original 100+ year old moisturizer for severely chapped or dry skin and it works like a miracle on dry feet. I’ve been using bag balm on my feet at night off and on for at least 20 years now. It’s greasy as heck, but I just smear it all over my feet at night and then put on socks. (That’s a real fancy beauty tip for you today.)

What I’m READING: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. Forever one of my favorite books from childhood, I was so excited to see that the Kindle version of THE ENTIRE SERIES is only $.49 on Amazon right now.

I don’t know if it’s a temporary thing or what, but LESS THAN A DOLLAR?? For all 8 books? I don’t think I’ve ever clicked a purchase so fast in my life. I’ve spent the past week reading about Anne Shirley as a little girl and loving every minute of it.

“Leaving any bookstore is hard…especially on a day in January, when the wind is blowing, the ice is treacherous, and the books inside seem to gather together in colorful warmth.” ―Jane Smiley

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
