I asked you in Saturday’s newsletter what things you’d most like to see for the Christmas giveaways and you had some really great ideas for both big and small prizes!

Any animal rescue group. I am a foster mom for 4 Paws Rescue team in Fairfax, VA. I pretty consistently have kittens in my house waiting to be adopted. They take in cats and kittens regardless of health concerns. All money goes to helping cats/kittens

I’m late adding my two cents, but I would vote for Salvation Army, Catholic Charities or a food pantry. I do my volunteering with the Friends of the Library, but charities who help a broad spectrum of people and address a broad spectrum of needs would be my choice for this.

Any cancer chairty will do. My father is currently battling stage 4 lung cancer which has spread to his brain. We have lost his dad many years ago and his old brother 7years ago to lung cancer as well. We continue to ask for prayers everyday and hope that he will get better very soon.

Children’s Heart Disease charities. One local CHD youth just lost his fight this past month. I would like to donate in his memory. I have a granddaughter just one year younger than him with CHD. Many fighters out there. ❤️

I would like to see the donation go to the arthritis foundation of Oregon. They do great work through educate and support for the individuals and families faced with this often crippling disease

I would love to be able to donate $150 to Heartworks, which is a local organization that helps families within my community, including my friend who lost her son to cancer 3 years ago.
