Grape Ice Cream

If you enjoyed grape popsicles as a kid, grape ice cream is a nostalgic flavor bomb.

Ingredients

  • 1 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 1 (.14 oz) envelope grape Kool-aid
  • ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream, milk, sugar, Kool-aid powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into the ice cream machine and process according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Serve immediately for soft-serve ice cream or transfer the finished ice cream to an airtight container and place in the freezer until ready to serve.
