I created this website 15 years ago as a way to share recipes with friends and family. And now, millions of people visit Barefeet In The Kitchen every month looking for recipes and ideas to help get meals on the table with a minimum of fuss.
There are over a thousand recipes on this website, many of which have been featured in Forbes, Today, Yahoo, Allrecipes, Business Insider, CBS, Buzzfeed, Parade, TheKitchn, HuffPost, Delish, Taste of Home, SheKnows, and The Pioneer Woman. All of the recipes are made from scratch as simply as possible and they are accessible for both new and experienced home cooks.

I’m passionate about helping feed the hungry, and I’ve shared a bit about my childhood here before. I learned a lot from countless meals of plain beans and rice. I learned to be grateful for every single thing in my life. There may never be anything more beautiful to me than a full pantry.
