Ingredients
½cupbuttersoftened
2cupslight brown sugar
1teaspoonground cinnamon
½teaspoonground nutmeg
⅛teaspoonground cardamom
pinchground clovesabout 1/16 teaspoon

Instructions
Combine the butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and cloves in a mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until thoroughly combined. Use immediately, or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
To make each drink, scoop 1½ - 2 tablespoons of the buttered spice mixture into a small mug. Pour ½ cup of boiling hot water into the cup and stir or whisk to dissolve completely. If desired, add a splash of half and half or cream, and stir once more. Taste and add more water or cream, as desired.
Notes
The buttered spice mixture will keep well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for at least 2 weeks. It can also be frozen for several months. If you freeze the mixture in an ice cube tray, you can transfer the frozen cubes to a zip-close freezer bag and simply remove an ice cube for each serving when you are ready to mix the drinks.For a lower-sugar option, swap half the sugar with Monk Fruit In The Raw.
