Hey friends, I’ve partnered with Kroger to share Stouffer’s Complete Family Meal Kits with you today. In spite of the fact that I literally wrote a book on quick and easy weeknight dinners, (see The Weeknight Dinner Cookbook for proof), there are still nights when I just don’t want to think about a recipe.

So, when I heard about these complete meal kits, I knew I’d be trying them soon. After I tried them? I’ve been pretty excited to tell you all about them.

And because I am all about making dinner prep easy, I’m giving away three gift cards to help you get dinner on the table too. {Don’t miss the giveaway info at the bottom of this post!) GIVEAWAY CLOSED

Stouffer's Complete Meal Kits are an awesome option for quick dinners with zero planning required in advance. Pick one up on the way home tonight and you'll have dinner on the table in no time.

Each of the meal kits comes with pre-chopped, pre-measured ingredients to help you cook a meal that you will feel good about sharing with your family.

There is an individually packaged protein, vegetables, whole grains, and a sauce for each dinner.

Frozen Dinners

Do you remember the frozen dinners that you tried when you first moved out of your parent’s house and before you learned to cook? The ones where everything comes in the same bag and gets dumped in a skillet?

Was that just me? Well, this is not that frozen dinner.

The alternate title for this post was “Frozen Dinners That Don’t Suck” and let me tell you these dinners are tasty.

Stouffer's Complete Meal Kits are an awesome option for quick dinners with zero planning required in advance. Keep a kit stashed in the freezer and you'll have dinner on the table in no time.

Best Frozen Dinners

Stouffer’s has three different kits available and we’ve tried them all.

Braised Pork Medallions with roasted redskin and sweet potatoes, broccoli florets, and a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

Roasted white meat chicken with broccoli florets, brown rice & quinoa, and a garlic basil sauce.

Tender strips of marinated beef, with a broccoli, onion and carrot blend, rice and an Asian style sauce.

Each of these meals was voted a keeper by my crew.

Stouffer's Meal Kit's are a great meal option on the night when you don't have a dinner plan ahead of time. Check out the full post for your chance to win a $40 gift card to help get YOUR dinner on the table fast.

These meal kits are so easy to cook, my boys took turns cooking each one. There’s something kind of awesome about a meal you can pull straight from the freezer and have on the table with zero hassle at all.

Our favorite meal was the Tuscan Chicken and it really was a breeze to pull together. Nate was the cook for this one and he had fun. He handled it almost completely on his own.

The chicken in the Tuscan Chicken meal kit was my personal favorite and my kids especially loved the steak in the Beef and Broccoli meal kit.

From warming the rice, to sauteing the beef and vegetables, and then drizzling that Asian sauce over everything, he was in charge of dinner – with just a little help from his big brother.

Stouffer's Tuscan Chicken Complete Meal Kit is a hit! Visit the blog to enter to win a $40 gift card to help get dinner on YOUR table fast!

Pancakes or waffles and eggs. If that isn’t appropriate, a stir fry. Your honey siracha chicken is a favorite. Beef and potatoes and carrots in the pressure cooker, or chicken and noodles. All are fast!

  2. Lynne Marie says

My favorite quick and easy dinner is Sloppy Joe’s. Made a batch recently that I added ground pork sausage to because I was a little short on the chop meat.

  3. Lauren S says

My quick dinner is rotisserie chicken shredded in chunks added to a pan of sautéed onions and red and green peppers seasoned with salt, pepper, oregano and cumin. Toss with cheese on a tortilla and salsa or over rice. And it’s great to snack on for days.

My favorite meal that is easy quick and tasty is a one pot spaghetti with some chicken sausage….It takes little time, the pasta cooks in a marinara sauce and the chicken sausage makes a good protein the entire meal comes together fast and the results wonderful…I would love to try all 3 meals you mention on your blog..Happy Holidays~~~~~~!!!!

  5. Jennifer Blalock says

My fave easy and delicious dinner is chicken and noodles. I make it in the instant pot but it could also easily be made on the stovetop or in a slow cooker. Ingredients are minimal and there’s little prep except to chop a few vegetables. There are no canned soups involved but instead, a simple white sauce is used for thickening. I make enough for the two of us plus my daughter and her family and everyone loves it!

  6. Paula D says

  8. Tina W says

Spaghetti and meatballs. I always have meatballs in the freezer. Since I make a big batch and freeze them in FoodSaver bags it’s easy to just drop the bag of meatballs in the water while it is heating up for the pasta. Add a salad and maybe bread … BOOM. Dinner is served.

  9. Tonnette Hoffman says

Omelets! I usually have leftover ham in the freezer or lunch meat ham, add cheese and dinner is quick, and comforting. You could get more balanced by adding peppers, onions and a side of fruit.

  10. Amy L says

I toss big chunks of potatoes and carrots, and a package of smoked or kielbasa sausage, cut into 3 or 4 pieces, with olive oil, a big spoonful of Dijon mustard, garlic salt and pepper. spread on a sheet pan and bake at 400 until the Veggies are tender.

Burritos or tacos are quick and easy for us. Usually by time the me at and beans are ready the vegetables are cut up and we are ready to eat.

  18. Liz says

My favorite fast dinner is to take leftover taco meat from taco night and throw it in some rice as the rice cooks. Stir in corn, black beans, cheese and a little salsa and then serve with your favorite taco toppings- burrito bowls. Bonus points if you have an instant pot I throw the meat in with the uncooked rice and water and then throw the corn and beans on top. Run it in the instant pot for the amount of time you would to cook the rice and when it’s done stir it up. It’s perfect!

  19. Rexanne says

Our yummiest quick meal: Store roasted rotisserie chicken, cherry tomatoes, broccoli and mushrooms. Saute mushrooms, remove from pan. Add Evoo, garlic and halved cherry tomatoes to mushroom pan on med high. Lightly steam broccoli or use frozen broccoli in microwaveable bag. When tomatoes are slightly softened add back mushrooms, pat butter, chicken and gently toss. Then add broccoli and toss again. Fresh parsley. Yum. We serve over linguine.

When I need a super fast dinner, we do “taco bar”. If there is meat thawed/cooked it goes on the bar, but it’s often just beans with Mexican spices heated in the microwave and all the toppings put out. Everyone can decide if they want tacos/burritos/nachos/taco salad.

My new favorite fast meal is your Enchilada Bake with ground beef. I’ve made it three times since Halloween. But it’s not QUITE as fast as the taco bar.

  56. Ashley Fae says

When it comes to an easy-fix meal, I go straight for pasta–plus it’s extremely inexpensive. In order to change it up, I had to get creative. Typically, I use a pound of any type of pasta I happen to have in the pantry and a pound of browned ground hamburger meat.
The way I get creative with it is to have a collection of McCormick spice packs on hand (like sloppy joe, taco, or something like that). I add it to the ground meat to give each meal a different taste instead of just having a tomato sauce on it.
After it’s combined, you can add frozen veggies, cheese, or even sour cream to add even a little more pizzaz to this inexpensive, quick-fix meal.

  57. Maggie Broglin says

My favorite quick and easy dinner is: “Grandmother’s Spanish Pork Chops & Rice”. Brown seasoned pork chops in a large skillet – remove chops & add a cup of rice to brown or until no longer translucent. Pour large can of diced tomatoes over the rice, stir then add the chops back into pan (they will sink to bottom of skillet). Cover and cook 20 minutes or until rice is done. When you take lid off pork chops will have re-appeared on top of the rice “-) Very easy, very quick and very delicious!

  65. Maureen Parrow says

Our go-to quick and easy dinner is risotto (yes, you heard that right!) with any vegy or meat left-overs (in the frig), mixed in. We always have boxes of various risotto rices, chicken stock, onions, and garlic on hand to create a delicious creative dinner meal.

One of the favorites for our family is oven-grilled tuna and cheese sandwiches with soup on the side to dip them in. If we have no tuna my daughter makes her favorite oven-grilled cheese sandwiches.

  74. Kim says

My go-to is either pasta since I always keep sauce and meatballs in the freezer, or simple breaded chicken cutlets and roasted potatoes
