This is my favorite time of year! I’m going to curl up on the couch, read as many books as I can, make our favorite recipes, find snow to play in, and watch lots of movies while snuggled into warm blankets. We’re going to visit with family and friends, relax, and spend our days eating, laughing, and playing. I plan to make the most of every moment through the end of the holiday season.
I’m taking a blogging vacation from now until the second week of January. I have a couple of things already scheduled to share, so you’ll see them here while I’m away, but beyond that I’m officially on my Christmas break!

The Amazon card would buy me a "wish" to myself…..I didn't graduate High School (went all 12 years, failed 2 classes!!!) so I want to get my GED.There's several study books on my "wishlist" there that will get me in the groove to study for the exam.Since even the GED is "common core", I have to "relearn" most of what I normally would know already!!!!!!

I would like to donate the prize back to our rural county school. This year, a school family was in need to feed and clothe their 3 boys, so the school generously dipped into the school childrens fund to help buy gift cards for whatever they may need. Also many parents donated money for a grocery gift card, too. This family was in shock and awe when presented with their gifts.
