Welcome to the weekend, my friends! I spent the past week in sunny Arizona, catching up with friends and family. I enjoyed every sunshine-filled moment and I am thrilled to be headed home today. In case you’ve forgotten, nothing beats my beloved Ohio. I love waking up every day in my favorite place in the world.

ON THE BLOG this week: If you enjoy the crispy, super thin, bar-style pizzas that are popular in many restaurants these days, you are going to LOVE this Tortilla Pizza recipe! This quick and easy pizza recipe delivers incredible results every time.

Sweet and Tangy Broccoli Slaw is filled with crunchy ribbons of broccoli and carrots, paper-thin onions, sweet chewy cranberries, and pecans. The slaw is tossed with just enough light, tangy dressing to blend the flavors without making this a “saucy” slaw.

Buttery brown sugar cookies filled with melting chocolate chunks and chewy cranberries are seriously irresistible. These Chocolate Cranberry Cookies are soft and chewy cookies that balance the tartness of cranberries against the rich decadence of dark chocolate.

An abundance of southwestern spices infuse this Green Chile Pulled Pork as it simmers in the Crock-Pot. The pork stays amazingly moist and juicy and the flavors are awesome together.

Rich and creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream with chocolate and peanut butter chunks mixed throughout is a dream come true for any ice cream lover.

What I’m CRAVING: This Pina Colada Pie! Doesn’t that sound amazing?? I adore coconut cream pie, but if you add pineapple? That’s pure happiness on my dessert plate.

Can’t get enough awesome pineapple coconut combinations? Try the Pineapple Coconut Bars, Pineapple Cake with Coconut Frosting, Pineapple Coconut Baked Oatmeal, Coconut Pineapple Smoothies, Banana Bread with Pineapple and Coconut, and the Pineapple Coconut Sour. I love them all!

My FAVORITE THINGS this week are these fit flops. I’ve definitely shared them before, but I still love them. I have several pairs and that’s all I packed for my trip this week. Cute, lightweight flips with arch support? Yes, it’s possible.

I’ve been wearing mine all summer long for years now. Since I pick up a pair or two each summer in a new color, I have quite the collection now and these are pretty much the only sandals I wear.

What I’m WATCHING: P.S. I Love You. This is a sweet love story that made me laugh, cry, and smile throughout the movie. While the premise might sound cheesy, “a young widow discovers that her late husband has left her 10 messages intended to help ease her pain and start a new life” it’s actually well done and the characters are so very likable.

I just learned that the movie is adapted from a book, so naturally, I’ve already downloaded the book for my Kindle. I’ll let you know what I think.

What I’m READING: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood by Diana Gabaldon. This is the 8th book in the Outlander series and it’s been so long since I read it, I’m re-reading it now before starting the 9th one that was finally released this past fall. (6 years between books is a long wait!)

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
