Welcome to the weekend, my friends! We took the RV out for a shakedown trip this week and spent a few days in MI. The dogs did great on the road and it was such a fun way to travel! (We traded the fifth wheel and truck for a friend’s RV and jeep earlier this year.)

Now that we’re back home, we are all looking forward to our longer trip next month. It’s been a long time since we hit the road for any length of time and I am so very ready for it.

ON THE BLOG this week: Old-fashioned meatloaf topped with a creamy mushroom stroganoff sauce is a hearty dinner favorite. If you’re a stroganoff fan, you are going to fall in love with this Meatloaf Stroganoff. My guys went crazy over it!

Sweet, tangy, crunchy Ramen Noodle Salad is a great side dish for summer potlucks, barbecues, or to serve with your dinner any day of the week. If you’ve been hanging out here with me for long, you’ve probably noticed that there aren’t very many recipes that I claim might be the best you’ll ever taste. I tend to save the word “best” for the things that are beyond any shadow of a doubt the best I’ve ever had or hope to have again. This Ramen Noodle Salad? It really IS the best.

What I’m CRAVING: I’ve been craving the lemon pudding in my dessert cookbook! Luckily, my friend Rachel has shared the recipe on her site, so I can link you to the recipe now for perfectly smooth and creamy, (three-ingredient!) Lemon Pudding.

My FAVORITE THING this week is this hair treatment. Have I told you about Malibu C blonde hair remedy?? I’ve been using it regularly since we moved to Ohio and I love it so much! You simply massage it into your hair after shampoo and then wash it out and condition. It only takes a few minutes and it WORKS. This is the same product my stylist uses in the salon and it’s truly awesome. I was ecstatic to find it on Amazon.

This little $4 packet of product instantly eliminates brassy, muddy tones and discoloration and it boosts natural shine too. It makes your hair look like you were just at the salon. It’s the secret to keep blonde hair looking fresh all the time. Natural or colored hair, it works like a miracle! (If you have well-water, this is going to rock your hair like nothing else!)

What I’m READING: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood by Diane Gabaldon. When I saw that the new Outlander book is going to be released in December, I decided it was time to re-read the last one. Some books in the series are admittedly better than others, but this one is great and I’m hoping the next one will be awesome.

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” – Mother Teresa

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
