Honey Mustard Dressing is tangy, slightly tart, and sweet at the same time. This dressing is perfect on a crispy chicken sandwich, tossed in a slaw, or with pretty much any salad.
While I love this dressing with poppy seeds, they’re an optional ingredient if poppy seeds aren’t your thing.

This tangy Pepperoncini Lime Vinaigrette dressing is perfect for a light summer salad. The finely diced pepperoncini give a slight bite and the dill compliments them nicely. I served this dressing over a simple tossed garden salad.
The first time I made this Honey Mustard Dressing, I served it with a simple salad of mixed greens, cucumbers, and tomatoes. And I’ve swapped out the vinaigrette and served this dressing on my beloved Orange Parsley Salad as well.
The dressing is delicious however you choose to serve it. Like most homemade dressings, it will keep well in the refrigerator for at least a couple of weeks.
Honey Mustard Dressing Recipe
- Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, honey, mustard, vinegar, oil, and (optional) poppy seeds in a medium-size bowl or glass jar with a lid.
- Whisk or shake in the jar until well combined.
- Store in an airtight container and refrigerate until serving.
Honey Mustard Poppyseed Salad Dressing
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon light flavored olive oil
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
Instructions
