It’s my favorite time of the year and I’m having a blast sharing my holiday excitement by giving away more of my Favorite Things! Today is extra special, because if you love finding the perfect gift even half as much as I do, this $50 Amazon Gift Card is going to make your day.
Whether you are shopping for yourself, family, or a friend, here are a few great kitchen tools to inspire your fun shopping spree!
3 Piece Stainless Steel Balloon Whisk Set – I’ve been using these whisks for a few years now and they can’t be beat. The price is fantastic and they are surprisingly sturdy. The quality is equal to whisks I’ve bought at 2-3x this price.
Baker’s Half Sheet Pans – This is the pan I reach for more than any other pan in the kitchen. These sheet pans are virtually indestructible. Whether I am slow roasting meats for hours at a time, baking a cake, or quickly broiling at high temperatures, my pans have never warped or bent in any way.
OXO Locking Tongs with Nylon Tips – I have several sets of kitchen tongs and these are the best tongs, hands down. I use them almost every day for turning meats, tossing pasta and salad, serving foods, and countless other uses.
Stainless Steel Measuring Cups and Spoons – After years of using plastic scoops that broke when scooping peanut butter or melted in the dishwasher, I’m partial to stainless steel measuring spoons and cups. I have at least 3 different sets of cups and 4-5 sets of spoons in my kitchen right now. I’m a fan of not having to stop and wash something midway through a baking or cooking project. So, even if you already have a great set, you probably need another one.
ChefAlarm by ThermoWorks – I’ve been hunting for a new meat thermometer for over a year now and this one has GREAT reviews! (Unfortunately, most of the other thermometers I’ve looked at do not have positive reviews.) I ordered this thermometer last week and I’m calling it an early Christmas present. I can hardly wait to make the Southwestern Crusted Roast Beef again with this awesome thermometer!
Get It Right (GIR) Ultimate Spatula – If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be a fan of a specific brand of spatula and that I would be telling everyone about it, I would have laughed. So, when I heard that this spatula was all that and then some, I decided it was worth a try. I can’t recommend this spatula highly enough. It’s almost indestructible, high heat resistant, super easy to clean, and just the right mixture of flexible and strong.
Norpro 13 Inch Splatter Screen Strainer – This splatter guard was a game-changer for me when I bought it a couple years ago. The first time I fried chicken it was a huge mess. Grease splattered all over the stove, the counters, and the wall. Seriously, I should not have been allowed to do that. This simple splatter screen prevents 90% of the mess and I happily make my family’s favorite Italian Pan Fried Chicken at least twice a month now.
Ello 14-oz Insulated Glass Tumbler– Because no list is complete without the perfect coffeecup, this one is on the list. I already own this one, but the insulated clear tumbler is so gorgeous, it’s on my Christmas wish list for this year! (It should fit perfectly in my stocking, right?)

Hi, I’m Mary. I’m the author, cook, photographer, and travel lover behind the scenes here at Barefeet In The Kitchen. I'm also the author of three cookbooks dedicated to making cooking from scratch as simple as possible.
I would love to buy anything for the kitchen but I would buy my great niece a Jingle and Bell puppy and book from Amazon. She is very sick at this time and she was begging for me to buy them this morning at 4am. Thanks for giving us a chance to win this $50.
It's a thoughtful giveaway! My Christmas shopping is done, therefore my husband and I would shop for "our" kitchen! A Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving to the Younkin's!
I am a Senior, recently moved into a new apartment, after living with my daughter when I got sick. Gift Card would be helpful in acquiring some needed kitchen stuff. Thanks
At the moment, I think I'd buy special baking ingredients for the things I can't find easily in grocery stores but like to splurge on once in a while. 🙂
