    Plain, simple waffles are best! Then maybe spread on some peanut butter while the waffle is still hot and eat up! 😍

    Oh Mary those cheddar bacon green chile waffles look so delish, I am a bit of a purist, buttermilk waffles for me, maybe some fruit on top though.Thanks!!!

    My favorite is Chicken and waffles from the PA Dutch Country where I grew up in Lancaster PA. It’s shredded chicken in gravy poured over the waffles. My sister makes the best and her favorite side is peas. Comfort food.

    Ok, my favorite kind of waffle is a real deal, plain Belgian waffle. The one that gets crispy on the outside and is chewy inside! Dotted with the real deal pearl sugars that crunch when you bite into them! They are amazing and don’t even need syrup!

    From childhood as a special dinner treat my mother would make us sweet waffles with sausages! This is still one of my favorites I’m very interested in the trend toward savory waffles and would love to try out a recipe. My waffle iron is actually my grandmother’s from the 1920/30’s! It’s definitely time for an update!

    My favorite waffle is a Smore’s waffle with a graham waffle, chocolate chips melted on top, with marshmallow fluff torched on top! It’s so delicious!!

    Here’s the honest truth. I’ve only made “boxed” mix with water type waffles! Ugh. I’ve never had a waffle iron that actually worked well. I would LOVE to try these savory waffles for my family on Christmas Eve!

    My favorite waffle is absolutely the bacon cheese ones my husband makes! Adding grated chedder cheese and crispy chopped up bacon to his waffle batter makes the most delicious waffles. The aroma fills the house and brings everyone to the table.

    My favorite waffle still has to be a chocolate chip waffle because it reminds me of the “Day After” tradition I started with my nieces and nephews when they were young. We would go for breakfast on Dec 26 and then go get our picture taken. Chocolate chip waffles were often their order choice. Those are pictures and memories I treasure.

    I’m just a classic waffle person. I don’t want strange ingredients in or on mine. Although, on occasion i’ve Been known to put put some Nutella on my waffle. You never know when that “chocolate thing” is going to hit!

    I love pecan waffles. I first had a pecan waffe at (of course!) Waffle House but have had various versions since at restaurants and even a homemade version here and there. I’m a big fan of nuts in geneal (and of pecans especially), so I like adding nuts to anything. I just love the flavor and texture that the pecans add. And put some butter and syrup on top and oh boy – hevenly!

    Well, before finding your site my favorite waffles were just plain Buttermilk Waffles, but looking at your recipes I would be excited to try your Brown Sugar and Spice Zucchini Waffles, they sound amazing! Alas, I don’t have a waffle press.

    Honestly, I’ve never had any other kind of waffle than a standard waffle, and never homemade. I am dying, DYING to try a cornbread waffle, so this would be PERFECT!!!

    Oh man, I’ve only had frozen waffles at home. But I’ve eaten them at IHOP and at hotels. I’m sure it’s not the same as homemade! I’d make them plain then cover them with syrup and fresh fruit.

    I eat a low carb meal plan so I make my waffle batter with almond flour. I eat the waffles in the traditional manner for breakfast. But, I especially like to use them as an open faced sandwich with chicken salad or BLT salad or as an ice cream sandwich topped with my low carb Mason Jar ice cream.

    I used to love the sourdough waffles at a little diner in the small mountain town where I lived. It would be worth keeping a sourdough starter alive just for those waffles.

    My favorite waffle is made with my granddaughters, Jaiden and Ella. It’s a plain waffle with Nutella and sliced bananas then some whipped cream with a cherry on top. It’s a special waffle only to be made on special days like Christmas. It helps if you sing while preparing it.

    I would love a new waffle maker. Because of my years of not cooking, I didn’t realize until recently that you don’t have to buy waffle mix at a store. There are actual recipes out there for it! The waffle maker that I have now has seen better days and even if I don’t win this one, I’m certainly going to replace with a Cuisinart. Good products have helped make me a better cook.

    WE are not very creative in our home with our waffles. We just eat them with syrup and butter. WE do get creative with our waffle maker from time to time. We have put mashed potatoes in there, as well as trying to make grilled cheese.

    I have to choose a favorite?? Oy! Lol… I think my very favorite would be a banana waffle with melted peanut butter drizzled on. But a good cheddar waffle topped with bacon onion jam is a close runner up

    Haven’t tried to make any except the regular ones with whipped egg whites. But we like fresh strawberries and whip cream to add on top. Waffles were the requested breakfast on each of my kids 🎂.

    I don’t have a favorite waffle since I’ve never really had many opportunities to enjoy waffles. I didn’t have them growing up and I never fixed them for my family when they were around. I would love to start! I think I would enjoy waffles with fruit and cinnamon roll flavored waffles. Thanks

    I really like buttermilk waffles topped with real whipped cream and strawberries.
    Easy to make and delicious to eat. Ordered them in a restaurant. yum would love to make my own.

    My favorite waffle was one at a restaurant in Tulsa, it was a regular waffle but it had Nutella buttercream, strawberries andhazelnuts on top. So fabulous I’d drive back there for it!

    I love waffles, but haven’t tried very many different kinds. I really like the Joy of Cooking cookbook’s waffle recipe. I like them plain with blueberries on top or with blueberries mixed in!

    On a show on Food Network channel I saw a guy make waffles out of stuffing(dressing). I would love to try that. That’s the first thing I would make. Then waffles.
