My mixer is Onyx Black, but oh how I love all of the bright and colorful options now! It’s almost enough to talk me into “needing” another one.

Not this time though, today I’m giving one away and I can’t wait to hear which color you will pick. (The winner will have their choice of any KitchenAid mixer listed on Amazon under $300.)

Cobalt Blue and Empire Red are my current favorites, but this Cranberry is pretty awesome too.

The first thing I would make with s new KitchenAid stand mixer would be my husband Michaels favorite Italian cookie, biscotti!!!! And now the biscotti you’re thinking of, in Kansas City, Mo the Italian biscotti is a round cookie that is more like a shortbread cookie and lightly iced with plain powdered sugar icing

  36. Stephanie White says

Well since I have managed to blow up 5 regular hand mixers during the holiday season, I would brake this beauty in starting with my home made sugar cookies, then my home made chocolate chip cookies then my home made peanut butter cookies, after that and yes I spend an entire day of baking and teaching my kids how to bake from scratch and they love getting the left overs then I start with my home made peanut butter balls that taste exactly like Reese cups. From there I finish the day off with making my home made peanut butter pie usually 2 of them. So to say I could really use this is an understatement and can under why Walmart has gotten so mad over having to replace at least 5 mixers a year around the holiday season. Because when I make my headed butter cream icing and chocolate icing it finishes them in and they either start smoking or just shut off because I so so much baking because I not only make it for my family 5 of us but I make such large batches because that is our Christmas present to people and they even start asking around August and September to make sure I am making them for them for Christmas because I refuse to buy store bought pre made cookies and such and home made is so much better and ai get to make memories with my 3 little girls ( twins girls 7 and other girl 6 ) and that’s the best part is having this memories with them and to know this beauty will last for years and they can learn how to use it since I so not have one. Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy a New Year to you!

Just cream in the bowl and mix until it separates into butter. Squeeze out the buttermilk, add salt/spices/herbs, and you’ve got butter! And it is so, so good!

The doctor put my hands (yep both hands) into splints. So a machine that can knead dough for me would be beautiful. Oh yum, fresh bread from my oven.

I would make myself a gluten free cake from scratch! With a frosting I’ve never made before, perhaps a total icing.

I want to make my Mama’s Italian Pizzelle cookies this year. She would always make tons each year, and friends and relatives looked forward to munching on those light cookies and sipping hot coffee around our table at Christmas time. I want to be able to give them to my friends now, and continue that tradition; because giving ‘stuff’ that people may you and forget (or re-gift) is easier, but sharing good food makes memories that people treasure.

  89. Wanda Ledinski says

This is my first time on this site and very impressed. If I was so lucky to receive the mixer I would use it on the Cranberry Pie and Cranberry Christmas cake.
Those were the recipes that brought me to this site. I can’t wait to make them.
