Crisp broccoli is combined with sweet, juicy grapes, and crunchy bits of red onion just before being tossed with a tangy, sweet balsamic dressing to make this Broccoli Grape Salad.

This is a light summer salad that my broccoli-hating-children devoured in minutes. My oldest son avoids broccoli at every other opportunity and he has requested this salad three times in the past month. That alone is enough to convince me that this salad recipe is a winner.
If that weren’t enough, though, then there’s the honest to goodness truth that I can’t get enough of this salad myself. I’d happily eat it just about every day if I could.
Broccoli Salad Recipe with Grapes
The first time I made this, my children ate the whole bowl of broccoli grape salad in less than a day. I still can’t believe how much they enjoyed it!
If you’ve never tried tossing broccoli and grapes together in a salad before, let me assure you this combination is magic. The firm bite of the broccoli and juiciness of the grapes work beautifully together.
The grapes add the perfect amount of sweetness without turning this into a full-on fruit salad.

There’s no cooking time required here, either. The broccoli is sliced thin and tossed right into the bowl along with the other ingredients.
With a little bite from chopped red onion and delightful crunch from pecans, this salad is just about as perfect as can be.
Much like our other favorite salad with grapes, the one I call The BEST Grape Salad, Broccoli Grape Salad is guaranteed to be a hit.
The simple dressing on this salad couldn’t be any easier or tastier. I used mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar and a bit of sugar whisked together then tossed with the broccoli, grapes, and nuts. Both regular balsamic vinegar and white balsamic vinegar work beautifully here.

(If you try it with white balsamic and enjoy it as much as I do, you’ll also love White Balsamic Vinaigrette on all your green salads.)
I’ve served this salad with Crock-Pot Pulled Pork, Pan Fried Italian Chicken Thighs, and with Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwiches. I also ate the leftovers straight out of the bowl and called it my lunch one day last week. There’s no wrong way to enjoy Broccoli Grape Salad!
